THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ROAD THAT CONNECTS IVATO CENTRE

PROJERMO PROJECT : LAYING THE FOUNDATION OF THE 35TH STATE ROAD BETWEEN IVATO CENTRE AND MANDROSONORO, MANIA DISTRICT

The reconstruction of the national road 35 that connects Ivato Centre in the Ambositra and Mandrosonoro district of Ambatofinandrahana begins, a new phase for farms. This road was first built in 1973. Now the PROJERMO project under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and funded by BAD (African Development Bank) funds is carrying out the reconstruction and reconstruction work.

The rebuilding of this road is important for local farmers as it facilitates the transportation of produce and helps a lot. They will feel very relieved when it’s done.
For the PROJERMO project, this is part of an effort to empower young agricultural entrepreneurs, transporting produce from village farms on which the project will work, repairing the RN 35 road.
On December 05, 2022, the foundation stone was laid for the restoration of the road, led by the President of the National Assembly, Christine RAZANAMAHASOA, and the Director General of Agriculture, Feno ANDRIAMANALINA and the national coordinator of Projet Jeunes Entreprises Rurales dans le Moyen Ouest – Projermo RASON Solohery David.
