VISITING THE DISTRICT OF ANDILAMENA, MADAGASCAR

The Prime Minister Ntsay Christian visited the district of Andilamena, in the Alaotra Mangoro Region, to see the roots of the people’s life and development, and the minister of National Defense, the minister of Interior and the Ministry of Internal Affairs a, Minister of Population, Social Welfare and Women Development, were present.

The elected MPs outlined the aspirations of the Andilamena district residents. There were the social and social aspects, the infrastructure, especially the roads.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the government has not forgotten Andilamena. 1,000 bags of supplies were distributed to the disadvantaged people in the district, and crutches were also distributed. National awards ceremony, also in recognition of teachers and community workers in the district.

This includes the market and the access to clean drinking water, and it will be a priority, like the road construction that has already started by the President of the Republic Andry Rajoelina.
There was a workshop where ideas were exchanged with the “OMCs” in order to further improve the security. There was also a push by officials over whether national IDs should be obtained for underage voters’ right, for free voting.

The government distributed food supplies to the 1000 families who are very vulnerable in the district of Andilamena. Handicapped persons were given crutches and blankets for the elderly and distributed relief to the victims. Local women’s organizations have received a private financial grant.
