The 10th round table discussion on the cooperation between Madagascar and the European Union or « Dialogue de Partenariat» was held today 08 August 2022, at the Iavoloha State Palace President of the Republic Andry Rajoelina and was attended by Giovanni DI GIROLAMO, Ambassador of the European Union in Madagascar and led the delegation and Mr. NTSAY Christian, Prime Minister of the Government.
Several points came together to be considered as the most important part of the two-party insurances in the joint venture. Special attention was given to domestic and international political situations, such as the war in Ukraine and the preparations for the elections to be held in Madagascar next year.
There was also an update on the progress of the projects and programmes funded by the European Union during the 11th FED. It concerns rural development, infrastructure development, management, financing and regional cooperation.
Sunday also included economic cooperation agreements such as APEi with the European Union, and Madagascar’s entry into the European market.
This European Union ambassador emphasized that the purpose of this meeting is to bring real development to Madagascar and Malagasy people, which is expected to directly impact and bring betterment to the Malagasy people.
