Protecting citizens and towns from natural disasters caused by climate change in Madagascar is a top priority for the Government. Three large infrastructures built in Manakara Be and Ampilao that were implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Heritage Development were inaugurated with the President Andry Rajoelina today 28 November where Bris was seen 210m e lamella meets international standards for the protection of Manakara’s urban and coastal inhabitants at rising seas especially during a hurricane. The Manakara Be beach design has also been improved by putting a green garden called « jardin d’amour», and the road on the beach of Manakara Be with solar power Dropped.
This « lame breeze » infrastructure that has been established has protected the city of Manakara during the recent cyclone in Manakara.
