Looking back on Senegal’s impressive win over Egypt this afternoon at the Lat Dior Stadium in Thies. Senegal dominated the game with a 4-0 victory and have taken a strong step towards qualifying for the next women’s CAN. The return leg will take place on December 5th in Cairo. Congratulations to the lionesses of Téranga for their excellent performance and for representing their country with pride. The second round of CAN Women’s Morocco 2023 qualifiers will feature Senegal against Egypt.
The team’s resilience throughout the entire game was truly remarkable, leaving me deeply impressed. A particular player, known as No. 21, deserves recognition for their exceptional ability to dribble and attack. We are confident that Maanko is fully prepared to travel to Cairo and ensure our qualification without any hesitation.
