PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF SEYCHELLES DEFENCE FORCES

As part of continued professional development of its service members, the Seychelles Defence Forces in partnership with the Seychelles Police Force conducted a presentation on the Seychelles Police Force. The presentation was conducted by Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Vincent Marie of the Seychelles Police Academy.

During the presentation, ASP Marie provided an overview of the police force’s mandate, response structure, and organisational structure.
This allowed personnel from various SDF units to get an understanding on the Seychelles Police Force, how they operate, and how the SDF collaborates with the Police Force. SDF staff have also become acquainted with several frequent infractions that occur in the Seychelles and how they are dealt with under some of the common laws.
