An investment promotion event aimed at introducing the investment opportunities and options of Yirgaalem integrated agro industry park to domestic and foreign investors has been held in Hawassa city of Ethiopia.
The event was held in Hawassa Haile resort with the presence of federal and regional high government officials. There was a discussion with investors who showed interest in investing in the park.
Deputy commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission Mr. Daniel Teresa has given explanation about the vast investment opportunities and options that industry parks play for the manufacturing industry sector.
Aklewum expressed about the investment policy amendments made in order to create a better investment environment and the government’s support and encouragement for investments for investors who dream of in Yirgalem Agro Industry Park.
An investment promotion event was held to share opportunities that Yirgalem Integrated Agro-Industrial Park (YIAIP) offers to attract domestic and foreign investors. The event was held in Haile Resort Hawassa in presence of high-level federal and regional government officials. Investors with keen interest to invest in the integrated park attended and engaged in B2B discussion.
The EIC’s deputy commissioner, H.E Mr. Daniel Teressa, presented immense investment potentials and opportunities that Ethiopia can offer and the vital role that industrial parks have in developing the productive sector. He also discussed the policy reforms that have been undertaken to create conducive investment environment. Mr Daniel also outlined the generous incentive and support packages that the government has for investors to be relocated in YIAIP.
