CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY FOR WOMEN’S RIGHTS
International Women’s Rights Day was also celebrated in Morondava on 8 March, led by the wife of the Minister of Youth and Sports, the wife of the Governor of the Menabe region and the wife of the Mayor of Morondava.
“Women rising and united, developed nation” was the slogan of this series and this solidarity was expressed by a walk through the city followed by cultural and artistic activities.
The Minister for Youth and Sports and the Minister for the Administration of the Menabe Region, André Haja RESAMPA, together with the regional authorities led by the Prefect and the Governor of Morondava, also paid tribute.
These speeches encouraged women to take responsibility for their families, to stand up and to unite for the development of the country.
