ETHIOPIAN HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY PERMANENT EXHIBITION

President Sahle Work Zewde inaugurated the “Ethiopian Historical Archaeology Permanent Exhibition” organised by the Ethiopian Heritage Authority in collaboration with the French Embassy in Ethiopia. The exhibition was opened on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and France.

It displays many artefacts that have never been presented to the public, exhibits the history and culture from the pre-Axum era to the 19th century. In her speech, the President expressed that “Ethiopia is rich in history, I do not believe that our history has been studied, told and exhibited enough”.
